Monte Vista Save File

Last save file I have worked on for my game. Backed everything up before it's too late. This is my last move before reinstalling the game on a new drive. Because my computer sorta dislikes me these days. You get me lol. I've got capacity issues.

This save file consists of Howard and Nate Summers. For another time. Hell yes. Both Sims are equipped with skills, celebrity level, inventory, careers and occult type(s). I have uploaded the save file in order for you to play with it and add your own touches in it. But please handle it with care! :)

Occult types: Werewolf for Howard, Fairy for Nate

Same as the Lunar Lakes household I was playing until yesterday, I have applied the same method on this one too. Howard and Nate have been saved under 2 versions on my OneDrive folder: one with Howard being at lvl 9 of the Doctor career and one with Howard and Nate getting promoted to lvl 10 and 5 each of their careers. They have two differences - one being the household funds and the other one being their careers.

I won’t upload my OneDrive folder today. It will take me some time to fix the game and reinstall it separately.

STEPS:

1. First unzip the file via your unzipping program.

2. If unzipped, you will see a folder in “.sims3″ format. Move it to “Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3>Saves” folder and it will be placed there.

3. Open your Sims 3 game.

4. On the main menu you will see your save file added there, if you have more than 4 save files you can hit the arrow there so you could see it. It’s titled under “Nov142020″ if you see it.

5. Click on it and it can load properly.

Lunar Lakes Save File

Lately I've been having problems with my game and in general, my computer. One more save and I'm ready to install it on a separate drive. At this time it's installed on my C drive so Windows Update fills the drive up. I hate it. Why not install it elsewhere to save space?

It will take me some time to install all the games, not today. Tomorrow Saturday I'm playing the other save I have in between. The one in Monte Vista. I won't forget it - I will upload the link in order for you to play with it and add your own touches. But handle with care please!

Consists of: Seth and Wayne Coleman. Seth is the son of Brett and Donna Coleman in my game, grandson of Janine (Brett's mother) and Josie's (Donna's mother), brother of Tyler. Wayne Ahmadyar is a pre-made resident of Lunar Lakes. They teemed up and moved into one house. Wayne took Seth's surname btw.

Include: celebrity level (4 stars for Seth and Wayne), skills, inventory, careers and occult types. Seth just got promoted to Genetic Resequencer (lvl 7 Science Career) and Wayne is at lvl 8 Culinary career.

Occult types: Werewolf for Wayne, Vampire for Seth

 

I have also saved them on my OneDrive folder under 2 versions: one in which Wayne is already an adult (has 2 days left) and the second, in which Wayne just turned into an elder. But they have 2 differences - more household funds and different ages. Seth by the way doesn’t age. He’s a vampire.

Isla Paradiso Save

 Hi everyone! :) ♥

 

Due to me playing in such a large town, and saving there is horror, my -current- progress led me to saving the file earlier than supposed to, but a little later than other save files. And of course not the Dragon Valley one.

I have uploaded the save file in order for you to play with it and add your own touches. Consists of Howard and Nate Summers. The boys strike again my oh my. Most of all Howard, because he's my most played Sim and I have so so much fun playing with him. 

Both Sims are equipped with skills, inventory, careers, celebrity level of 5 stars each and occult type (werewolf and wizard each). Note that Howard is at lvl 10 Medicine while Nate has the lvl 7 Journalism career. It was because Howard used to date somebody else before marrying Nate. Part of a minor change I did in-game. 

Saved game is 100% working. Fully functional, safe and virus free in every means. The requirements for my saves will be explained individually. 

File is in ".rar" format. It contains a FOLDER (only) in ".sims3" format.

Moonlight Falls Save

Hi all! I have been running this save for 4 months. Started in July 2020 and ended successfully in November 2020. After loads of gameplay I ended it today November 2nd, 2020. Goodbye Moonlight Falls save. You will be missed. But thank god I have uploaded the save file in case it gets lost and/or deleted. So you can play with it and add your own touches in it.

Consists of 2 Sims. Howard and Chauncey Summers. (formerly Grimm, made over for the game) Both Sims are equipped with skills, careers, inventory and a celebrity level of 5 Stars each. They have lifetime happiness too and they are on level 10 of their careers.

They have supernatural types of Werewolf and Fairy each.

Saved game is 100% safe, working, virus-free, nothing is corrupted by the way. Fully tested in every means.

File is in ".rar" format.

Tips for a healthier save in Sims 3

Lately I've been digging saving the game more and more often. But university courses have made me stay away from it. And take care of my families.

It is not always that easy, you need to work hard until you reach to your desired progress. 

I have learned and discovered some tips for my saved games in The Sims 3. Applying them, it makes your save much faster and your game much healthier.

-----------------

• DO NOT overwrite your previous save. It may cause you bugs, save error codes and crashes in between!
• Use the Save As...” option, to save your game under a new name and with the progress you made till you reached that point. For example “Test.sims3”, will be saved under “TestNew.sims3”.
• DO NOT use the “Save and Quit” option! This kills your save and may get you an error code! Actually, many, depending on the amount of CPU the game is consuming!
• When you are trying to name a save, DO NOT use spaces or symbols! This is another factor your save may get an error code or a bug! For example, it’s better to save your game under “TestNew.sims3” rather than “Test New.sims3”. It’s safer to use numbers as well but spaces is a NO for the game. Example: “Oct272020″ is a much safer name.
• Same as the tip above but if you are trying to name your save, please do not use repeated or a combo of letters, such as “fffffffffff.sims3″ or “sksksksksksksksksk.sims3″. The game will identify them as long and the game may not load!
• Before saving, ALWAYS check Edit Town to see if the thumbnails are correct. After the game is saved, do the same before going to either the main menu or restarting the game. If not, you need to delete the progress you have made on the town you were working on before making a new one.
• Same as the first tip. When overwriting the game you will get thumbnail glitches such as a duplicated lot copy in both household and lot or household thumbnail showing up as usual but the lot one appearing blank or empty. This has to do with World Adventures.
• When the household and lot thumbnails are just an invisible family and house icons, this means you have saved in EDIT TOWN mode. This doesn’t corrupt the town or the progress!!!
• When redirected to the main menu, DELETE the previous save if you have saved in the same lot with the same family. You will keep the new one instead of the old one. Old things go away, right? This may fill your drive space.
• If you have less than 4GB of RAM, please open task manager BEFORE starting the game up and check your CPU (how much it consumes) while running the game. If your CPU is more than 60 then we’re having a problem... your save will get corrupted. Close any background programs except for Origin and The Sims 3.
• If more than 4GB of RAM, then we’re okay. No need to check CPU while running the game.

 

The second to last one used to be an index of not getting the save corrupt several years ago before losing all my files. I used to check the CPU all the time before getting my laptop. Now it's no use checking my CPU due to having a higher RAM.

My First -Ever- Sims 3 Save File

I have been running this save file for 2 months and a half. Today, September 10th, I decided to play some final touches and eventually upload it so you can play with it.
I started it June 29th in Dragon Valley, after loads of gameplay, it ended up borked but playable. Nothing is corrupted by the way. However, it’s all safe and virus free.
Consists of 2 Sims, Howard and Nate Summers, and their cat Hannah adopted in game. Both Sims are equipped with skills (some are maxed), a celebrity level of 5 Stars each, high level careers, occult types of Werewolf and Wizard, and necessary equipment on their inventories such as: laptop, book, umbrella and high school diploma. Nate, who is a wizard, has a magic wand equipped with him. NOTE: Nate aged up to an adult in game and Howard has 6 days left till he ages up. (after today’s progress)

STEPS:
1. First unzip the file via your unzipping program.
2. If unzipped, you will see a folder in “.sims3″ format. Move it to “Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3>Saves” folder and it will be placed there.
3. Open your Sims 3 game.

The Beginning (and an Introductory Post)

I felt like creating a blog for my Sims 3 needs. My game, my creations, my saves. Same as my Tumblr blog. But unfortunately, on Tumblr, NSFW content is not allowed. Some of my pics are NSFW. So they'll be posted here no matter what.

And here it is, my very own, all things Sims 3 corner. I will be sharing my creations here. Only CAS and play mode. Unfortunately I don't build because building in The Sims 3 is INDEED a pain in the ass! Note that your game can crash this way.  Use it with moderation.

My creations, at the moment, don't have a Sims 3 website download link. It's because I don't share there a lot. But I have both Dropbox, SFS and OneDrive accounts so I share them there. While SFS is down I use mostly OneDrive which is by Microsoft and on Windows 10 is easier to use.
